Hi there! My name’s Colton and I can’t wait to meet you! As the owner of Blue Skies Brain Health, I am committed to making mental health care accessible, relatable, and transformative for all. I wholeheartedly believe that the client-therapist relationship is the cornerstone of great therapeutic outcomes, and I bring an exceptionally warm, genuine, and even humorous approach to therapy. My lighthearted nature helps create a comfortable and safe environment, allowing you to feel at ease and share your true thoughts and feelings. Unlike many mental health agencies that take a clinical and intimidating approach, I focus on fostering a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where you can be yourself. With deep expertise in interpersonal relationships, anxiety, depression, trauma, and helping people find purpose in life, I help guide you through the challenges you face with empathy and insight. In addition to my passion for the psychology of our minds, I am also deeply devoted to the healthy functioning of the brain as an organ. I believe that a well-nourished brain is key to producing healthy thinking patterns and making sound decisions. In therapy, I work closely alongside you to implement lifestyle changes that promote optimal brain health, from diet and exercise to stress management techniques. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family, playing sports, exploring the outdoors, and playing my guitar. I feel driven and dedicated to normalizing mental health care as the expected course of action whenever you aren’t feeling like yourself. On a broader scale, I even believe that many societal issues—whether seen in the news, politics, or our communities—could be improved if we all took the time to understand ourselves and our emotions better. I truly love what I do and the difference I can make towards helping you achieve greater happiness, fulfillment, and self-awareness. Hi, I’m Allison! Looking forward to meeting you and getting started! In my work, my passion starts with holistic wellness - I believe that true healing comes from addressing all areas of our life. I am often described as approachable, warm, and understanding as I utilize a cognitive-behavioral approach to help people understand and process past trauma, reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, and manage other mental health challenges. In my personal and professional life, I love to build meaningful connections. When you start therapy with me, you’ll find yourself in a safe and welcoming environment where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts and emotions. My greatest skills as a therapist revolve around helping people recognize patterns in their thinking and behavior that may be holding them back from reaching their full potential. As we recognize these patterns, we will then discover motivating factors that help lead you towards positive changes. Whether it's incorporating mindfulness practices, re-wiring thinking patterns, or enhancing self-care routines, I will help you feel empowered to take proactive steps toward feeling your best. By combining evidence-based therapeutic techniques with a holistic approach, I am committed to supporting you on your journey toward healing and personal growth. In my spare time, I enjoy playing volleyball and basketball, baking, reading, doing anything that involves getting some Vitamin D outdoors, as well as watching reality TV. I also enjoy hiking in National Parks and hope to check more parks off my list in the coming years!
