Our approach treats the brain as a holistic portion to your well-being. Taking a combined  cognitive-behavioral techniques (CBT) and narrative therapy, therapeutic approach - we find it helps individuals reframe their life stories and move past traumas and stressors.

Do I need therapy?
Maybe. We say therapy is for everyone. There are always moments of confusion, loss, burnout, and like the world could cave in at any moment. It’s going to be okay.

How long should I expect to be in therapy?
We may have a lot to unpack, therefore the duration of therapy varies based on individual needs and goals. Some clients may find relief in a few sessions, while others may benefit from a longer-term engagement. Here at Blue Skies Brain Health, we believe in tailoring the process to each person's unique journey.
Are online therapy sessions available?
Yes - in fact, those are the only appointments we have! By focusing on online therapy options, we’re available to meet your needs anywhere, practically anytime. We’ve served thousands and they appreciate the flexibility and comfort online sessions provide.
What should I expect during my first session?
When approaching your first session - know that, with us, it’s low pressure (we understand that starting therapy can be intimidating to start). During your first session, we will create a comfortable space for you to share your story. In this relaxed conversation, we will discuss your goals, explore your experiences, and collaborate on a plan for your therapeutic journey.

No preparation needed, just show-up as you are. We believe (and research backs us up)  that building a close bond with your therapist- is the key element to making progress in therapy and getting back to feeling like yourself again. 

Your therapists will ask some questions to get to know you and you’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have as well. They’ll ask about what’s not feeling quite right in your life and understand your goals for the course of our holistic therapy. From your first session and every step along the way, we work at your pace and we encourage you to let us know if anything comes up that you’re not ready to talk about yet  - here,  you’re in control and lead your own change.
Do you accept my insurance?
Very likely as we accept most major insurance providers. If your mental health treatment isn’t covered by your insurance, we’ll work with you to get the care you need. Our therapists offer a sliding scale approach if needed to make therapy work for you and your budget.
