Morgan Montel, LCSW
Therapist
Hi, I'm Morgan - I'm so glad you're here. Thinking about starting therapy is a big step, and I want to honor whatever brought you to this point. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just not quite like yourself lately—I see you, and I’m here to support you.
My style as a therapist is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can show up as your full self and feel truly heard. I believe that healing happens when we feel seen, supported, and empowered to explore the deeper layers of our experience—at your pace and in your own way.
In our work together, I draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and a strengths-based approach. I often incorporate mindfulness and self-compassion to help you deepen your self-awareness and feel more in control of your emotional world. My goal is to help you make sense of what you’re feeling in a way that’s validating, meaningful, and leads to lasting change.
I specialize in working with anxiety, grief and loss, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. I especially enjoy supporting adults who are high-functioning on the outside but feel stuck, lost, or emotionally drained on the inside. If that sounds like you, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to keep carrying it all by yourself. Together, we’ll work to help you reconnect with your inner resilience and find clarity, even in the midst of uncertainty.
I’ve always felt drawn to this work. There’s something deeply meaningful about witnessing people reconnect with themselves—discovering the insight, strength, and direction they didn’t know they had. Therapy isn’t about fixing you; it’s about helping you feel more aligned, more grounded, and more you.
Outside the therapy room, I love spending time near the water, tending to my garden, and listening to thought-provoking podcasts. I have two sweet dogs who keep me grounded and a big love for Florida Panthers hockey—I rarely miss a game and love watching with friends and family. Whether I’m walking the dogs or soaking up a sunny afternoon, I try to find joy in the little things.
Wherever you are in your process—whether you're just beginning to explore therapy or are returning to it—I’d be honored to support you. Reach out when you’re ready. You don’t have to figure it out alone.
