Hi, I’m Allison! Looking forward to meeting you and getting started! In my work, my passion starts with holistic wellness - I believe that true healing comes from addressing all areas of our life. I am often described as approachable, warm, and understanding as I utilize a cognitive-behavioral approach to help people understand and process past trauma, reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, and manage other mental health challenges.
In my personal and professional life, I love to build meaningful connections. When you start therapy with me, you’ll find yourself in a safe and welcoming environment where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts and emotions. My greatest skills as a therapist revolve around helping people recognize patterns in their thinking and behavior that may be holding them back from reaching their full potential.
As we recognize these patterns, we will then discover motivating factors that help lead you towards positive changes. Whether it's incorporating mindfulness practices, re-wiring thinking patterns, or enhancing self-care routines, I will help you feel empowered to take proactive steps toward feeling your best.
By combining evidence-based therapeutic techniques with a holistic approach, I am committed to supporting you on your journey toward healing and personal growth. In my spare time, I enjoy playing volleyball and basketball, baking, reading, doing anything that involves getting some Vitamin D outdoors, as well as watching reality TV. I also enjoy hiking in National Parks and hope to check more parks off my list in the coming years!
